Pohutukawa on a Black Background
Pohutukawa on a White Background
This scarf design is taken from an original painting of the endemic New Zealand Pohutukawa (Metrosideros Excelsa). The tall Pohutukawa tree is a spectacular sight of blazing red flowers that emerge around Christmas time and have earned this tree the name of New Zealand’s Christmas tree.

Tui & NZ Flax on a Black Backround
Tui & NZ Flax on a White Background
These scarves feature a design taken from an original painting of a Tui (Prosthemadera novaeseelandiae) feeding on the common flax or Harakeke (Phormium Tenax).

Silver Fern
This scarf design is taken from an original painting of the endemic New Zealand Silver Fern (Cyathea dealbata) – the iconic tree fern, also known as ponga, is a symbol commonly associated with the country both overseas and by New Zealanders themselves. The scarf design is an amalgamation of the upper side of the frond, which is green, and the silver underside that is characteristic of the plant.

Marlborough Rock Daisy
This scarf is made up of three illustrations of three New Zealand native plants – the Marlborough Rock Daisy (Pachystegia Insignis), the Chatham Island Forget-me-Not (Myosotidium Hortensia) and the Three Kings Vine (Tecomanthe Speciosa).

Scarf size: 53x180cm
