During the 2021 lockdown British-born artist Lizzie Pannell became inspired by photographs of wild flowers her mother sent from her walks in the English countryside.

Covid lockdowns left event-based photographer Bruce Jenkins’ specialised equipment sitting idle. Bruce turned to photographing wildlife and the rest, as they say, is history.

Helen Keen created her own interpretations of Monet’s Water Lilies in acrylic and discoverd elements of Impressionism have found their way into her constantly evolving practice.

Kylie Law’s abstract view of floral settings was viewed throughout this body of work, from complete blooms to single petals, shaped panels and floral-inspired skateboard decks.

Depth of Fields further explored Auckland artist Helen Keen’s love of impressionism, combining a sense of nostalgia with her own contemporary approach to art making.
